Jury selection began on Monday in the trial of Lindsay Clancy, a Massachusetts mother charged with three counts of murder in the deaths of her young children. Prosecutors allege she intentionally strangled her children—Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 7 months—at their Duxbury home in January 2023.

Clancy was left paralyzed after jumping from a window following the events and is expected to attend the trial via videoconference or from her medical facility.
The prosecution has argued that the killings were planned, citing Clancy's actions leading up to the incident, such as sending her husband on errands to be alone with the children. The trial in Plymouth County Superior Court is expected to focus on the defendant's mental state and medical history.
