The New York Knicks unveiled their 2026 NBA championship rings during a ceremony prior to their home opener against the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday, October 20, 2026. The custom rings, designed by Jason Arasheben of Jason of Beverly Hills, feature nearly 800 diamonds and sapphires totaling 22 carats set in white gold.
The design was created over a seven-week period following the Knicks' victory over the San Antonio Spurs. Arasheben, who has designed rings for other professional teams, stated that he intended the piece to capture the "grit" and "energy" of New York City and Madison Square Garden.
The ring features a mechanical element that allows a miniature model of Madison Square Garden's exterior to rise when turned. It also twists open to reveal a replica of the arena's lower bowl, while the underside of the removable top depicts the building's ceiling architecture. The ring includes a 0.16-carat diamond on a gold Larry O'Brien Trophy to mark the 16-point comeback the team made in the clinching game.
The rings are personalized for the roster with players' names and jersey numbers. For the public, availability is restricted to 200 "Premier Championship Rings" priced at $19,995 each.
The design incorporates specific data points from the 2026 season. These include 16 emerald-cut diamonds representing the 16 postseason wins and "69 points of round white diamonds" representing the team's total wins for the season. The inner shank is engraved with "Knicks in Five" to denote the series length against San Antonio and the "10 Weeks" mantra used by the team during their title run.
Following the debut on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, the rings were distributed to the players and the Knicks championship banner was raised at Madison Square Garden. The fan program, which includes five other commemorative pieces such as pendants and accessories at various price points in addition to the $19,995 ring, is available through the jeweler's website.
