In brief

The Secure America Act provides $70 billion in funding through fiscal year 2029 for the Department of Homeland Security to increase immigration enforcement and border security. It also pays for the procurement of drone surveillance towers and artificial intelligence technology to screen for illicit narcotics at U.S. ports and borders.
